I've paid homage to Pauly before. Why his film Son-in-Law was one of the first entries into my Hall of Fame. Today we enter Jury Duty into the realm of the elite.
Jury Duty stars Shore as Tommy, an out of work slacker who lives with his mother and father in a trailer park. He has been in and out of jobs, but when his mom and pop decide to pack up and go to Vegas, Tommy is left without a place to live.
Tommy lucks into Jury Duty and immediately plays the system to stretch his term as long as possible so he can stay off the streets. Initally he is paired with his old high school principle, who in addition to being a loud snorer, listens to a self help tape all night long.

So Tommy and his sidekick, chihuahua Peanut, move on to bigger and better things when Tommy agrees to mention the hotel on the news in exchange for a big room with a view and free room service.
Eventually, his luck runs out with the other jurors grow tired of him not voting with them to return a guilty plea. The jig is up when love interest Tia Carrere finds him in his luxury room one night.
I'll stop my synopsys there as there are a couple twists and turns and alot of hilarity within. You'll have to see it on your own!

Long live Pauly Shore and, as he says, "Long Live Jury Duty!"
