And, I must say dear readers, it was a very cool movie. The special effects where actually very good, even looking half decent compared to today's insanely awesome technology, as they shot the movie really well. It was a fun story, and seeing that Jeff Bridges was in the original, I can understand the fanboys jumping with glee that he's in the new movie. This sort of legitimacy added to sequel 28 years in the making, by bringing back the original actors, ( Bruce Boxleitner, who plays TRON also returns ) and having enjoyed the original I find myself reading a bit more into the plot of the sequel and came across an interview ( sadly I've lost the link, sorry =-| ), with Jeff Bridges, where he talks about the movie and mentions his website. JeffBridges.com, and how he likened his site to having your own radio or TV station.
Now, being a fan of everything Jeff Bridges, I though I'd give his site a view, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very simple site with some insight into who Jeff Bridges is. And he seems to be a very laid back guy with a love of the interesting and off beat. His site has a page called Stuff, which isn't the most well laid out of pages, but it's full of intriguing litte things The Dude himself has found cool on the Internetz. I've check out a few and I was amazed at the diversity of the subjects. I suggest all Jeff Bridge-ites, and those that enjoy losing themselves for hours on end in the internet, to head on over and give it a few clicks, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
One highlight of the "Stuff", below, is probably one of the most creative things I've ever seen.
